Mother-Daughter Cooperation

After work today I stopped and hung out with my mom for a few hours. She told me she had finally found the supplies for a project she has wanted to do for years - a photo board made of fabric and ribbons. In spite of a false start (using too much batting) and our communication differences, we managed not to staple each other or any furniture in our creative efforts. And it looks pretty cool!

P.S. There is actually one step left - Mom is going to secure the ribbon crossings. Then she will make her window valence out of a pretty color-coordinated fabric and hang this on the wall!
