I'm fundamentally just too lazy to change my regular email account to another service. But this could convince me, since I've been locked out of my Inbox for three full days now.
Hmm...it might have to do with your account, because I haven't had any trouble (knock on wood) and haven't heard of widespread outages. HOW FRUSTRATING! I hate hate hate hate hate being without email!
One of the downsides to being without email is that I don't get notified of comments anymore. Sigh. I have tried different browsers, different computers, different internet connections, different operating systems, optimizing my browser according to the Hotmail help page's instructions, restarting computers, etc. On the hotmail forums I have seen probably a dozen other people with the same problem - and that's just the people who posted about it this week.

Have you tried logging in on a different computer? Just troubleshooting here...
