I don't really love carrying extra cards around in my wallet, or having a store track everything I purchase, but I do enjoy getting those rewards. Then I get receipts like this:

bread reward coupon -2.00
general reward coupon -5.50

And now we're having steak tonight!

Awesome! I love shopping trips like that. Unfortunately, we just spent $50 on ... well ... chips and drinks for the bbq we were invited to tonight (their family has 10 people, but still), milk, juice, bread, eggs, sour cream, and mac and cheese and shampoo for the food drive. $50! Yikes!
